President’s Message

October is here and there are many activities happening at University Elementary. 

Big News – Thank you to all the parents who helped at the Book Fair.  A special thanks to Kelli Finigan, Angela Samona and Susan Stapp who spent countless hours organizing and running the event.  The Book Fair was a great success.  THANK YOU!

Fall Festival is coming on October 25^th from 12pm – 4pm

Come dressed in a costume and meet up with friends.  The festival will have a lot for your children to do from games, crafts, the Haunted House and more.  Stop by the Black Cat Café and enjoy some food and treats and don’t forget to stop by and bid on your favorite basket at the Silent Auction.  Tickets for the games and food will be presold before and after school starting Monday October 20^th.

Lots of events are scheduled for the coming months, so be sure to mark your calendars with the following dates. 

October 25^th – Fall Festival

October 27th – Red Ribbon Week

October 31- Halloween Parade

November 7^th – Movie Night at Weatherfield Elementary 7pm

November 11 – No School Veteran’s Day

Scrip

The Scrip Promo starts on Monday, October 20^th.  You can purchase Scrip on Tuesday and Friday before and after school.
